Shot from one of the boxes, resulting in an extreme angle (think near-perpendicular) so you can see into the wings and watch the actors slacking. Sound is great and it’s very well shot for a vid of its age though there is a touch of gen loss. Circle of Life is near perfect despite a little bit of washout.

NOTES: An excellent capture in 16:9 wide-screen of the Original London production, right after the show underwent the changes. Very clear and steady. Filmed from near the back of the theater, but with nice zooms and no obstructions. There was another round of changes made after the other 2011 video. This is definitely the later version because at the end Raoul returns with Gustave and there's no unmasking, which matches the eventual Australian version.

NOTES: Filmed in 4K (released as 1080p and 4K), external audio synced. it was rather difficult shooting around the head of the guy sitting in front of me who also leaned forward for most of the show. His head blocks 1/3 of the right side of the frame in wide shots, but closer zooms are unobstructed. Did the best I could. Several short blackouts due to ushers, most notably toward the end of the show.
